Lai Francisca of Onyxay Lanzarote Producciones creates this program WITH THE AIM OF PROVIDING A QUALITY BASIC COURSE IN THIS EMERGING AND UNKNOWN FIELD SO FAR.

Offering to be trained with a solid knowledge base to open the way to a new job opportunity. This program has the support and sponsorship of the Government of the Canary Islands and the Council of Lanzarote.

Introduction

The Canary Islands is one of the Autonomous Communities where more audiovisual productions are carried out every year. Companies, production companies, advertising agencies and brands from all over the world choose our land for its diversity of landscapes, uniqueness, climate, natural light and a host of other features that make it an ideal place for filming.

With the participation in these courses, the management and teachers want to provide all their knowledge and experience to help you know how to approach a specific project, and obtain a perfect preparation to START working in the team of any type of audiovisual production.

PROGRAM 1:

Introduction and assistance to audiovisual production.

The entertainment industry needs people capable of providing effective support, it needs professionals eager to lead the audiovisual challenges of the upcoming years: multiplatform, transversal projects and with an international focus.

With this introductory course, you will achieve a comprehensive vision of the production of entertainment, fiction and new media content, from the development of the idea to the final production.


  • To train qualified people in the audiovisual field in order to bring added value to the Canary Islands, as very powerful companies film their audiovisuals here.
  • To promote employment in a diversified professional industry and with many different areas. To cover the needs and demand for employment by bringing vacancies that we are not currently able to offer.
  • To discover the skills of the students. To provide tools for entrepreneurship in this industry as it is a job that is normally covered on a self-employed basis.
  • To give the possibility to the youth and all interested audience to get closer to the world of audiovisual productions and fashion in a professional way.
  • 6 WEEKS DURATION, 72 HOURS (3 DAYS A WEEK)
  • START DATE: 04 MAY 2025
  • END DATE: 28 JUNE 2025
  • PLACE: CHAMBER OF COMMERCE of LANZAROTE
  • DAYS: MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY (INTERNSHIP) FROM 09.30H TO 13.30H

PROGRAM 2:

Introduction to fashion styling for audiovisual productions

In audiovisual projects, the costumes of the characters are a fundamental element for visual perception and connection with the story and its context. A costume designer or stylist is in charge of the wardrobe, and his/her function is to read, analyse and interpret the script that is being worked on and to research the play and its characters in detail.

If you are passionate about fashion and fashion styling, we suggest that you can boost your ingenuity and creativity by enrolling in this basic specialisation course. We have the most complete and up-to-date training programme in the region.

Daute Campos

Daute Campos is an islander producer and scriptwriter, co-founder of the Canarian production company Amissus Producciones. Among his most outstanding projects are “Tal vez”, with the participation of RTVE, RTVC and the support of the Government of the Canary Islands or “Un supermercado en Tigaday”, a feature film in development designated at the MIA Market in Rome as one of the most outstanding Spanish projects.

Rufina Santana

Artist with a degree in Fine Arts by the University of Barcelona, she is a curious and restless traveller to those places that can offer her answers to the questions that her art presents to her. She lives and carries out her work as an artist, in a bidirectional sense, from the Canary Islands to the world and…

Alicia de la Rua de Louis

She studied Fashion Design at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (CSDMM) and specialised in the design of leather accessories and stage costumes. After graduating she worked for half a year in theatre plays in Gran Vía in Madrid as assistant stage costume designer.

Yolanda Verona

With an extensive professional career, she has worked as an interior decorator, draughtswoman, personnel manager, and has had her own talk show on Archipiélago Television. She has also participated in the radio with her programme ‘Mostaza Chic’ about fashion and current trends in the arts. She has been a costume designer for theatre companies…

Raquel Melián

Raquel Melián was born on the island of Lanzarote in 1986. She studied Fashion Design in Madrid at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED Madrid),
graduating in 2011. Between 2011 and 2013 she gained experience in the field of image, visuals and styling, especially with Celine Beteinber for Ekseption….

Dariam Coco

Born and raised in Lanzarote, she graduated in acting at the Central de Cine dramatic arts school in Madrid, continuing her training at the Cinema Institute of the Canary Islands. The first character she played was Inés, in La otra Mirada, she also participates in fictions such as ‘La casa de papel’ for Netflix or ‘Caronte’ for Prime Video.
